The Mural People is curating artists and creative vendors for two major outdoor art events in 2026:

Paint The Park – Downtown Allen Park
Trenton Art Festival – Downtown Trenton

Both events are immersive, open-air art experiences held as part of larger city-wide arts celebrations featuring murals, live painting, art activations, and thousands of visitors.

We are seeking up to 100 artists across a wide range of mediums. These are curated events designed to highlight original, artist-designed work.

Paint The Park – Allen Park

Dates: August 22–23, 2026
Location: Downtown Allen Park, MI

Paint The Park 2026 Art Fair is a curated, two-day outdoor art fair held in Allen Park, Michigan as part of a city-wide arts celebration featuring murals, a city-wide art show, immersive light installations, and thousands of visitors. 

We are seeking 100 artists across a wide range of mediums. This is a juried event. Artists may apply for one of two booth options outlined below.

Cash Prize Categories Paint The Park:

  • Best in Show – $750
    Awarded to the artist with the strongest overall body of work.

  • People’s Choice Award – $500
    Determined by public voting during the event.

  • Most Creative Booth – $250
    Awarded for standout booth design, presentation, and creativity.

  • Best Emerging Artist – $250
    Awarded to an up-and-coming artist showing exceptional promise.Apply Now

Trenton Art Festival

Location: Downtown Trenton, MI
Dates: September 19th

A curated outdoor art experience celebrating regional artists, creative businesses, and downtown activation.A city-wide arts celebration featuring new large-scale murals, live art demonstrations, immersive light installations, and community programming.

To celebrate artistic excellence, creativity, and presentation, cash prizes will be awarded to selected vendors during the event. Awards will be determined through a combination of jury review and public engagement.

BOOTH OPTIONS & FEES

OPTION 1: Independent Booth

  • 10’ x 10’ outdoor space

  • $150 booth fee

  • Artist provides their own tent, tables, and display

  • White tents strongly encouraged

OPTION 2: Shared Gallery Tent Space

  • 8’ x 8’ space under a large shared tent

  • $100 booth fee

  • Gallery-style layout alongside other artists

Ideal for 2D artists and those without their own tent
